Gewn creates excellent and innovative business avenues for its members, by focusing on results, action and innovation and a passion for making a tangible impact in addressing gender diversity issues and women empowerment. Gewn has worked in close collaboration with corporate members and excellent women entrepreneurs to develop an understanding of the business sense and strength behind gender diversity issues, women empowerment and an overall excellent woman worthy of emulation. Gewn’s programs have been designed to grow an excellent class of women across all career stages of their career path.
In addition, Gewn focuses on engaging members in bringing innovation and technology to their various field of operations. By dissecting topical issues and challenges, our customized programs, top tier events and strategic networking activities help to assist members in meeting their business objectives. The organisation propagates the fundamental idea that institutions must embrace global diversity and innovation and give equal opportunities to deserving and excellent women who are poised to make it in order to achieve their full potential.
Global excellence Women Network (gewn) was set up to provide career guidance, shape ideas and support women within the various facets of industry. Our aim is to provide an enabling environment that is designed to train, guide and support women within their field of operations. Our existence is to tackle and address the common business patterns, interests and issues of women in executive,educational, professional and entrepreneurial roles by exchanging ideas, sharing industry best practices, information and experience.
gewn provides members with day to day support in the form of several successful tailor made programs and initiatives to ensure the positive progression of women in today’s work environment.
Our network comprises from excellent women in both the formal and informal sectors who have achieved so much and continue to impact our society with the principles of hard work, dedication, and excellence. Our Inspiring Women are experienced senior leaders who are passionate about supporting the next generation of female leaders by sharing their experience and knowledge for others to take forward into their careers.
Our top mentors are volunteers for gewn and act as advocates for women, especially the vulnerable ones. Their passion, experience, and expertise play a critical role in making the changes we all want to see when it comes to inclusion, diversity and gender parity, and women empowerment.
Our vision is to create an Excellent, Creative and Impactful Ghanaian woman who is able to lead her generation in and out of her sector of operations while embracing international opportunities and stretching her frontiers across the globe.
